Elkhart Plastics 1,000 Gallon Vertical Water Storage Tank
This 1,000 gallon vertical tank stores potable water, rainwater and emergency reserves in a compact 64″ footprint. It’s rotomolded in one seamless piece from UV-stabilized, FDA-compliant HDPE with NSF/ANSI 61 approved resin, and the opaque black wall blocks sunlight to keep algae out. A reinforced tank top resists collapsing in the sun, the inlet sits at the highest point for maximum fill, and the outlet sits at the lowest point for full drainage.

Which Specific Gravity Do I Need?
Specific gravity (SG) is how heavy a liquid is compared to water (8.33 lb/gal). Choose a tank rated at or above the SG of what you’re storing:

Installation Notes
- Set on a flat, level, smooth pad that fully supports the tank bottom.
- For atmospheric (vented) storage only — not a pressure vessel.
- Above-ground use only; not designed for burial.
- Use the molded tie-down locations in high-wind areas.
